Online Restorative – Friday March 27th

If you’re interested, please register here. This is a late change, so if I don’t get much response by 3/25 I may push this back a week or a few days.

Restorative yoga helps to soothe the parasympathetic nervous system and can help promote healing, so it feels important to try to share this practice in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Restorative yoga also relies very heavily on props and supports in your practice. I won’t assume you have any of that, so everything I’ll queue and give direction for will assume you have some basic household gear:

* 1 – 2 bed pillows (not body pillows or sitting cushions, though if you have some, have them available)

* 1 – 2 lightweight blankets or fleece throws; something that you can cover yourself with or roll up to be no taller than 4-5 inches

* 1 book, ~1000 pages might work. Really anything that’s about 2-4 inches tall and flat. If you have a yoga block, you can have one handy in case you want a second thing, but I’m going to plan to assume you only have one.

This is also pay what you want, so please contribute here!
